  • Jogging outside is far more perilous than a gym -- you've got cars to contend with! And I would never go to a gym that I found disgusting. Most gyms today are in fact very clean and well maintained. It is a very competitive industry.

  • The US government is continually issuing bonds on the public market that can be purchased by anybody. When the bond matures, the US government must pay the face value plus accrued interest. It does this continuously, and has never (yet) failed to meet its obligations.

  • I bet you're thinking about the Ford Festiva, which was a garbage car made in Korea for the American market (not that all Korean cars are bad). It was a piece of junk, and is exactly the example of why American car companies lost the small car market to the Japanese.

  • Actually, in Consumer reports the fusion is near the top of their rankings, and they get a "well above average" rating for reliability. It really is a good car. I know people who bought it and love it.
